I don’t know who has seen, Lions for Lambs. The part where the professor, tells the student, that “Rome is on fire”. Makes me think of our society today.

“They really did believe that the OT and the revelation of Christ and the growing NT, was growing then of course, say the first century, was God who had spoken, and that God had given truth and as such they were not caught in the flux of the relativistic Roman world because it really was relativistic much like our own day.”
“It is this way the lives and value systems of individuals in cultures, if they have nothing stronger to build upon, than their own finiteness their own limitedness, they can stand if the pressures are not too great, but as the pressures mount, if they don’t have a sufficient base they crash.”
“It often takes time and not a great deal of time before there is a collapse.”
Reject all forms of syncretism! They worshiped Christ alone.
We have the absolute by which to judge the state and its actions.

So what do we do, i wasnt able to watch the video its not coming up out here.
If I could lable something that is a passion yet something I struggle with it would be, having an impact on a society thaat is turning to every wim of doctrine that comes by, to include all post modernism, witch craft, cults….
I see history repeating itself, but does it have to? What do you do with a “christian” nation, that thinks they believe in Christ and cant believe anything but the lie of love.

I have the book. Scary thought: As people become more apathetic, the government has to become bigger to compensate and force the people to work. America is right there…

Saw the video, what I gathered was Stand firm in Christ, he is our foundation, and his word is truth.
SO what does it look like in our day. It seems that we are coming to an end of the “Constintine” decree, Europe has no foundation, America is on a shaky foundation. austrailia, is the same way, south Korea seems to be building a foundation, the same with China. I guess it comes to the Church being faithful to God and not giving into culture and sticking to the truth, Keep your Sword sharp and your gun by your side, because we are going to be persicuted by “christians” in the name of tolerance, apathy and love
