“How to Keep Your Kids Drug Free” is Back!
“A brief but convincing argument from Scripture against the use of drugs. Also contains practical counsel advice for teachers, pastors and parents of drug abusers.” - Christianity Today.
That endorsement by Christianity Today pretty much sums it up! How to Keep Your Kids Drug Free is a valuable resource for parents, pastors and teachers who want to go beyond the rhetoric of today’s anti-drug program. Discover what the Bible says about the effects of drugs and learn to apply Scriptural solutions for protecting your family from one of society’s greatest problems.
Written by Dr. Robert Morey and originally printed in 1989, the book has been updated and is now back in print.

Good job. i have the original somewhere in my book case. On another note, Triablogue put up the “Does God Love Everyone” video on their page. It’s a pretty good post.

This is very much needed! Our children are being desensitized when it comes to the subject! The reformation presses on! The Lord is adding daily His army! Let us press ahead strong!

You should pick up a copy of the book. The section on C/F/R is worth the price alone!

This is one of the few books to present a philosophical/theological reason why not to take drugs. It is not enough simply to cite health issues or to discuss addiction (as caffeine and alcohol easily fall into those categories). That is why this book is necessary - it discusses the issue of the altered mental state and what it means in the context of Biblical Christianity.
And drugs are bad, mmkay?

This book is going to become more important as the Democrats slowly but surely legalize every kind of evil, including drugs.

This book was the first book that Morey ever wrote. It is very small and is in need of extreme updates.
I believe he was 27 when it was first published/written.

I noticed that you added an “H” to the last name, Jean. Tired of the old spelling?

I agree, it needed a few updates. It probably could use a few references to more modern drugs now, but the overarching principle still applies.
At least it doesn’t talk about the ’80s as “the future” anymore!

John, How is it that I didn’t know you had a blog until now?
And with it being the future and all, you should see my new flying car. It has sub-sonic-woofers you can hear 2 galaxies away!
