Biblicalthought has been engaged in a discussion with George Bryson regarding the debate he had with James White. In the discussion we asked George to explain his answers to some of the questions posed to George Bryson by James White. You can see for yourself in the previous post the long drawn out answers by George Bryson that do not address what Scripture teaches. In this post examine ...

Interesting day it has been today. Everything was as usual. During lunch, as I was driving back to work, I heard the announcement on the radio that Michael Jackson was dead, allegedly. My first thought was that it was impossible, the Michael Jackson, dead? He was supposed to be in concert soon.
As I stepped into the office, talk of the singers possible death was everywhere, people asking could ...

Today's message was a beautiful reminder of our Lord's great love toward us His people. Paul in his letter to the Ephesians in chapter 3 prayed the following, "For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be ...

This Palm Sunday marked our first visit to the church of Pastor Ken Jones; Greater Union Baptist Church. It was great to see brothers and sisters that we had not seen for some time. It was a great experience for my wife and I. We were received with grace and the love of the saints was evident! Once worship began, there was a reading of Scripture and the ...

There is great news for Joey. By grace alone, a donor is available for Joey. It was reported today that Joey would be rushed into emergency transplant surgery. Since we've known the Enriquez family, this was a prayer request to the Lord, with the hope that the Lord would provide. The day has come! Please continue to pray for the family. May the Lord give the doctors tremendous ...

In opening this piece, I will quote from Paul the apostle: “Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” Ephesians 1:2-3
This was our first Sunday at Grace Covenant Community Church, and I must say it was a ...

This was part of the message our Pastor, Dr. Robert Morey taught on as our service closed at Faith Community O.C. It was a great gathering of saints who have been touched by the life of a man who has been and will continue to be determined, along with his wife and children, never to compromise the truth of the gospel of grace. Pastor Justin Alfred, Dr. Armstrong ...

We hear so often of the religion of peace; Islam. The following is a story of a Muslim with a cable television channel who was aiming at bringing clarity between the East and the West. His mission was overturn negativity toward the false religion of Islam. Here is terrorism alive and well within the borders of our country! It should remind us of the very real threat Islam ...

As we head into 2009, the Lord's coming is closer than it ever was! He has extended His grace to humanity yet another year. If He would have destroyed this country and world in the year 2008, He would have been just and glorified in doing so; however, our God is a merciful God, patient, full of grace! There is much work to be done in this ...
